He was drinking, I woke up suddenly.
I looked outside and saw the tree.
It’s leaves were dying.
He was drinking, he’s not even trying.

I hear a glass bottle crash against a wall.
He was drinking, I go into a crawl.
All the things you can tell from a crack in the door.
He was drinking, he never came back from the war.
